Biography
I discovered WOW during summer chess in my city in 2005. A dear friend told very enthousiasticly about all sorts of weird and fun things she encountered as a troll shaman, and approaching gradual burn out after 25 odd years of competitive chess I decided to give it a try. Got hooked right of the bat!
At the moment I have 3 "big" chars who are 70 or are almost there.
My first char was Agricola, a NE druid who is 64 at the moment, and I still have vivid memories off the exciting feeling of discovery after discovery when everything is new and fresh. First boat, first elite, first capital city, you name it. Good times.
Agricola is momentarily happy with his herb-, mining-and smelting duties.
Sheebah is my second char. I wanted to play a dwarf and got fascinated by the paladin class. Sheebah is for some reason by far my favorite. She is the one I applied for as main for Lemmings of the Light, and is almost 70 (67 now). She uses ret for leveling, but is considering prot as an alternative when at 70. If it is possible to have an emotional bond somehow with pixels on a screen without being taken to the asylum, then for me Sheebah is it.
My third char is Shakalu. With her I discoverd the awesome solo-power of an affliction warlock. The things you can pull off with her solo, well, just amazing. It is with her I entered TBC and raced to 70, with epic flying mount and all. But after this I returned to my "great love", Sheebah. Shakalu is now on AH- and crafting duties.
Recent chars are Matahaari, a dwarf rogue in her 30's, and Rhianon, a belf priest still in her 20s. They are a bit dormant now, but may see the Azerothian sun again somewhere in the future.
For 2,5 years I have played the game solo, no guild experience and next to none instance experience. I had some nasty PUG experiences in my early days, and together with the fact that I find it difficult sometimes to sync well with players (not their fault) who are mostly on average 25-30 years younger than me, those made me play solo so far. Good fun things I experienced: attempting orange and red quests, and developing ones professions. Bad things: missing out on game content, and to be honest: getting a bit lonely sometimes.
So I decided to go for the guild thing after all, knew of Lemmings of the Light from a year ago conversation with Wilgje, and well, here I am.
