Lemmings of the Light

I have been playing WOW since the day the server opened.

I remember the day very well ... sitting there at my PC, checking and checking over and over again to see if the server was up yet ... looking to make sure I got the name Matzy. Its been my MMO game for a while.

Before WOW I had been playing Ultima Online. I hadn't been playing it very well, I must add. lol

Having Lunch With a GM in UO:-

I got more and more disheartened by the game and the way I was playing it. It lost pretty much all appeal to me the moment I found WOW open beta.

After a few months playing around in WOW I eventually ended up in a guild where I learnt a lot about WOW, MMOs, and generally life in a guild. Final Justice was the guild name, and was my first proper experience of really connecting with a group of people in an MMO.

It is also where I first began toying around with raiding.

My First Set of Raiding Armor:-

I eventually moved on and returned to The Deadly Alliance, although it was now called Equanimity. My return was relatively shortlived as I just didnt enjoy the experience of being walked through raiding content. It was fun while it lasted, but I craved having a bit more involvement in the raids beyond showing up when told to do so.

Just Before TBC:-

I was kind of in the wilderness for TBC. I joined a group of friends in a hope of starting a guild up, but it never really saw the light of day. I ended up joining Tabula Rasa, and was happy to find another guild where I felt quite at home. A break from WOW did me the world of good, and I once again enjoyed raiding and the game!

Raiding Again!:-

Alas though, as per usual good things do come to an end. Another break from WOW ... and this time I knew the guild I wanted to join. I had Lemmings in my sights. I had heard the name of the guild over and over again during my time on Aszune and it was always connected to positive thoughts and comments.
