Lemmings of the Light

Finally a biography! One year before WoW was released a friend of mine introduced to me that a new MMO-game was going to be released. At that time I couldn't believe it would be fun, but the more you read about a game in advance the more enthusiastic I got and I participated in the beta at that time. With 5 real life friends we became Horde (since in the real game after the beta we wanted to become alliance and didnt want to do the same quests twice). I myself became a Tauren Shaman and ran through Mulgore! I think we made it to level 11 and saw a 'shiny' hole in Oggrimar (Ragefire Chasm), we entered (with a party of 3) and saw all elites there. We wanted to go crazy and pulled one. It hit quite hard, so we all fled. In the end we finally killed about 2 mobs and thought it was very cool and called it a night (man, we we're really nubcakes ).

Then the game came out and I had decided beforehand to become a gnome rogue (named Serra). From the desciption I loved the stealth part and the hard hitting part. My first guild would be after a month, Eclipse. (I read in Wilgjes biography that seeing the date of leaving we just missed each other in that guild). It was a small guild and not much happened and after some reading I saw that there was founded a Dutch guild on our server which was quite big. So when I was around lvl 45 I joined the Cantonium Elites. I leveled my rogue till lvl 60, but then didnt like her very much and I became fed up with the guild.

So my first alt was born, a night elf priest, Lumen. I played her much more and liked the healing much better and I understood the game much more at that time. I was in Furions with her, just to be in a guild and after a while I encountered my first nice guild, Prometheus. (they are different guild than the later founded one). These we're nice people and they undertook some 5-man instances like Dire Maul which was new at that time. But there were more ambitions with some members than the guildleader could do (since he wasnt online too much). So the guild ended and we with some others became the 'Shadow Runners Clan'. This became quite a raiding guild and Lumen was my new main. We cleared Molten Core and BWL. After some big argument with the guildleaders, most members left the guild, including me and founded a new one, named Utopía. We still cleared MC and BWL and AQ20, but in the end running through Molten Core in one evening became very very boring.

In the meanwhile I had leveled a hunter, mage and Yreia to lvl 60. I quite liked Yreia for the change and all the different options a warlock has and wanted to do something different. So I quit the guild after being 2 years in it (they now go under the name Elysium) and I followed Eolan in a guild which offered more than just the regular WoW-content. One whisper to Wilgje and I got an invite I got Yreia to lvl 70 first and it became my new main. Sometimes I do miss the healing, but I still am in love with the warlock. It has so many special features and options that in every situation you have something that the warlock can be usefull for.
