Biography

Hi fellow Lemmings!

My real name is Robiën. I'm a 36 years old (M) and I live in Haarlem, a city near Amsterdam, Holland. Currently employed in the archives in the court of law of Amsterdam, I'll get some rest there from the things I do after work (; I'll keep myself busy with karate, indoor climbing, reading (mainly fantasy), going to concerts or dj's and last but not least doing various things with my computer.

Those various things are searching the internet for all kinds of music (mostly music that's not in the charts), keeping in touch with friends, managing my financials and of course gaming. One of those games is Magic The Gathering Online. Other games I played are RPG's like Oblivion. This is also the perspective from which I (recently) began to play WoW. Because I never played a MMO before, I treated WoW as a game in which a solo player had to do lots of quests. I soon discovered that it was sometimes much easier to do things with other players. That was something very alien to me, but I liked the interaction with other players. After that the thought to join a guild was a small step. After an instance I played (Sunken Temple), a player asked me if I wanted to join his guild (The Consubstantials). I did and was pretty excited about it. Only 2 days after I joined, the guild disbanded. One of the the wardens of my former guild recommended The Lemmings of the Light to me, because she thought The Lemmings had a lot in common with the Consubstantials. I read your code of conduct and I liked the content of it. I applied and now here I am...

Pheww, quite a story already.

One of the things I like about the Lemmings is that you want to have a good time (or being a casual guild), but still are committed. Another thing that appeals to me is that the guild values being friendly, helpful and not acting offensive. That's the way I'm trying to be.

I still have a lot to learn, but I have hunch it'll turn out fine with the help of my mentor. (Especially working in a team is not something I'm used to with gaming - although I do that all the time at work.)

Enough for now. Hope this post wasn't too long...

PS Happy birthday, Lleu!

If you could be your character for one day, what would you do?:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aszune&n=Thracite I would fly on a Gryphon all day long to be awed by the great landscapes.
What's the noobiest thing you've ever done?:
Using Fear in an instance to save my hide. The mob got back with dozens of others resulting in a wipe (;
