How to join us on teamspeak
(18 December 2011) Our Teamspeak server has been updated to the latest version so all is well now!
So, how to install and configure your computer so you can join us on voicechat (teamspeak)?
Download the client program here Teamspeak 3! Then, install it and run the program.
To connect, use the following settings:
For the nickname, please use your own name.
The password is the same as we're using on the TeamSpeak 2 server: dancingqueen .

I wanted to test Teamspeak and followed these instructions:
Label: Lemmings of the Light
Server address: lemmingsofthelight.com:8767
Nickname: your main's name
You should leave login name and password empty for now. Click 'anonymous'. You need to fill in a
server password: ********* (used the password that was given in small letters)
Unfortunately it didn't work:

[20:19:06] Bad Login (name and/or password wrong)
Am I doing something wrong?

I am not the best one with technology Thracite, but it looks like may be you just typed the wrong password in? Leave the login name and user password blank and then the server password is the one in big red writing

Cant Connect
Tonight was my first time raiding with Lemmings and I couldn't get connected.
I've tried everything, opened ports on firewall and router etc. I can connect to a couple of public ts servers no probs too. I'm defo using the correct client too, d/l'd from lemmings site and dont update it when asked.
I'm copying exactly whats in the picture above - ts.portsandprotocols.com and 9987. I'm defo getting the password right too although I know thats not the problem because the error message I'm getting is 'Failed to connect to server'. I also can't ping this address or its IP address yet can ping the public ones fine.
Any suggestions? :s

If you use the wrong version, what will happen is that you can connect, but will be disconnected with a message stating that the communication protocol is incompatible, and that the server software should be upgraded.
So I guess you're using the correct client, allright.

I tried downloading the
I tried downloading the client on that link and it worked just fine for me. I did have a connection problem last night where i got connected but instantly disconnected and then it failed to reconnect until i clicked disconnect from current before trying to connect again.
Have you tried connecting with 82.73.139.62 instead of ts.portsandprotocols in address?
Easy fix to the prot being op in Arenas issue: Remove the Arena system and stop nerfing my PvE to "balance" your PvP!
Yep, typing in the IP
Yep, typing in the IP directly was one of the first things I tried.
I've done a traceroute to that IP and it seems to lose connection at one of the points in the netherlands (which is where the ts server is too, i'm getting so close :s).

TS server update
Nai has now updated our TS server software to the latest version. As there has been some fundamental change in the interface protocol, you need *the latest* version of the TS client to be able to connect to our server now

TS3 problems
having trouble getting TS3 to work ...
I downloaded and installed it from the TS website (linked above) but I couldn't hear anyone, it muted WoW and kept disconnecting. Apparently this is because I downloaded the wrong version, however I can only see one version of TS3 on the website (other than the 32/64 bit option)
I therefore uninstalled, and reinstalled. Now I can't even connect. It says trying to resolve hostname and then stops responding.
Even tried redownloading the file. No luck.
I think something isn't uninstalling though. When I reinstall it seems to have remembered the Lemmings server name bookmark I set up
Any ideas?
For info I'm on Win7 and I'm using the 64 bit version
