Discovering Zul'Aman on the testrealm
Pluto, Wilgje, Neti and me wanted to take a peek in Zul'Aman on the testrealm. Unfortunately but fortunately, I was able to stealth through the terrain easily so I could take some screenies; it proved to be too hard to 4-man a 10-man instance ; )
So here's the screenies and some conclusions I've drawn ; ) Please read more ; )
GENERAL
Since this is an outside instance stuffed with trolls and some animals like leopards, this really reminds me of Zul'Gurub.
EAST SIDE
After the troll-trampling when the doors open, there are barely any pats or mobs on the right side of the terrain. You can approach single bosses easily and I've seen two of them standing around.
WEST SIDE
The west side is more crowded, including mobs that can see through stealth. There was fairly a bit of stuff I haven't got to see yet : )
SIDENOTE
A troll with a manic accent keeps yelling about his priests hurrying up and there's a timer to "a sacrifice". I guess you can draw your own conclusions ; )

Yeah Wilgje i know that is
Yeah Wilgje i know that is fun to explore the new istance ofc. Only i write this because i have seen maybe "too much entunsiasm" toward this new raid. I was only worried that we would leave Kara for this raid, but maybe i am wrong. I posted only to make all know about my inquieteness. I believe that officer will think about all the pro and contros, and i hope we will raid there soon.

It's just a lot of fun to explore the instance on the PTR, and learn more about it at the same time as all the further progressed guilds. 
As I already concluded you need tanks with 15-16000 HP at least, and I myself are not there yet

silph: i agree that especially the last boss is fairly difficult and on par with the prince etc. I also agree that karazhan should not be abandoned in favour of Zul'aman. On a side note from the experience i have had on PTR the first boss is not a great challenge. The only thing i wanted to do was increase my hit points, but the gems are so darn expensive. From a lemming PoV i think the first couple of bosses are doable. the first boss is pretty mnuch tank and spank, switching the aggro between 2 tanks for his different forms, and it seesm to be very dependable on the amount of hit points on the tanks, i would say as long as the tanks can stack up 15K+ health everything is cool, and the loot off these couple of guys could make Kara easier
, so i think it is just finding a way of juggling the 2 instances 
, which i am sure our fellow officers will find some nice way of doing it

Just out of interest... If plate tanks need 15-16k hp, what kind of figure do the druids need ? (As I'm sure most of our druids are around 16k when buffed atm).

not sure about Druids TBh, going on the basis of what id needed now i would suggest 20+ but dont quote me on that. Just need to account for the missing Parry! but who knows, its all guess work at presnt, and i haven't managed to get a group in there with a tanking druid at present, so i really have nothing to go on

Ahh, thats what it was like in the TBC beta testing... only seemed to be uber guilds playing, and there was me running around in green quested gear on my druid with people asking me how I'd lost all my stuff, lol.
The pessimistic person:
Not to be the person not optimistic but from what i have read this istance is not so easy.
The difficult is set from level of the Prince/Nightbane, for the first boss, and then raising up.
I think before we start preparing raid there, we have first to clear Kara, or at least kill the Prince/Nightbane.
Therefore, honestly i hope we will not abandon the Kara run, because i think that Zul'Amn will be really hard.
(I am sure we can go more inside Kara easily. but i would like to have a lock in our raiding group for everyboss after Curator,
that will help really much)

The calling for the "sacrifice" is a timed quest in zul'aman, with nice l33t rewards if you manage to save the prisoner

That's correct cal. It's a
That's correct cal. It's a 10 man raid like Kara with no attunement required. It's opening with the next patch 2.3 but previously you could approach the outside in the Blood Elf starting area but in the new patch it will actually be accesible. Plus the bosses drop Badges of Honour so will be nice to stock up on those nethers and other goodies
