Upcoming 3 weeks of raiding
A few days ago Tuanur asked a very valid question regarding the raiding schedule and the TBD raids. The TBD raids were put in the calendar twice by Neti to leave room for a third ICC raid. After discussion with the officers, and listening to your suggestions, I have decided the following:
Every week, tuesday at the latest, the raids for the upcoming week will be announced. We will aim for 2 visits to Icecrown Citadel, 1 visit to another dungeon. This dungeon can be ToC, a 25-man pug, or a raid instance that could otherwise be freely pugged. We have noticed guildies don't always feel up to organising "puggable" content runs, so organising raids to places like Ulduar every once in a while could help people see content that they hadn't yet, and newer or low-level guildies in learning what raiding with Lemmings is like. (more on this beneath the split!
- we'll organise a visit to do the weekly boss on wednesdays, like we do now. So guildies can sign up, or know they can organise another weekly boss run on their own accord because most guildies may already have done it.
- Also on wednesday, we will organise the 'random' content. We will experiment with this for 2-3 weeks, and then take stock of how this goes and how people feel about this. On tuesdays, we will know where the weekly boss resides. In the case where the weekly boss is Lord Marrowgar in ICC, the wednesday raid will be the first ICC run of that week.
- In case the ICC runs were on thursday and monday, and we want to organise a third run because the second was very succesful, we can put it in the calendar for tuesday.
- In case there was a third ICC run on tuesday, and the new weekly raidboss of the upcoming week is not in ICC, we will just do the weekly boss and nothing else that wednesday (to leave room in our raiding schedule, and not have a week of monday raid, tuesday raid, wednesday raid, thursday raid).
- In case there was a third ICC run on tuesday, and the new weekly raidboss is in ICC, that week's raiding schedule will be monday, tuesday, wednesday; monday.

I presume the experiment with alternate Sunday/Monday runs has ended with the decision to just do Mondays and not Sundays?
Sounds good

Ary, after the latest poll sunday evening turned out not to be such a good day for raiding, which is why we picked the monday

This looks like a really nice setup for the TBD raids. Though I have another question. How are the invites handeled for this raid? Do you use the ICC invite list system for it or does it work in another way?

For invites we do look at the invite list to see who has attended runs in the recent past. But going/not going on the non-ICC run has very little impact on your position on the priority list as in the calculations it is weighed minimally compared to the ICC raids.
Sorry for the late reply!

too bad you decided for wednesday on random/weekly because most of the time that was my only chance to get to icc, but then again maybe i should have spoken sooner.

I took your comment in account Murd, as well as others on the subject. We will see how this goes for just a few weeks so you may not miss much.
