I am going to gear up for my offspec as soon as im happy my my main spec gear, my current offspec is retri, but in my opinion, its kinda boring
So im thinking of switching it to prot and need for offspec in hc`s in the future, never tanked anything before tho, but i will try it out, just have to sort out my healing first
And yes, as Neti said. I will come on Serea if the need for a shadow-priest is larger then the need of (another) holy pallie ^^
I would like to be Bulldaz
I would like to be Bulldaz again if it fits one day
Daz is handy to fit a role if needed, and has become competent 'thanks to the help of the guild'
and i'm always happy to use either char (as needed).
but the mowhawked gnome misses being thrown from catapults
edit :- I feel very lucky that i can run all 3 roles, and i am always happy to fill any role, thanks for giving me this privilage
Oh, I didn't mean to push
Oh, I didn't mean to push Serea into a corner in any way, I just thought I should point out something which more people might be thinking but afraid to say
and to explore together with Serea how he feels about the situation
Good stuff!
Its always good to have more healers. Good for you, Serea!
Well I was more thinking in
Well I was more thinking in the line of that perhaps one of our mainstay Holy Pallies Daz can finally be just Bulldaz again
Also, Serea is very aware that if we get an overload of healers for a specific raid, I'll have to ask him to show up on Serea again..
To finish what I was saying
To finish what I was saying (for some reason I though I'd made my point
), whilst I am all for folks playing the class/spec they prefer, they may have to put up with a less than preferred role.
Holy Pallies in lemmings cannot assume to be MT healer, or even OT healer. We've managed content before with 3 pallies healing, but the lack of any aoe heals can make it very tough.
The raid healing team is
The raid healing team is currently all holy Pallies with an odd priest (no pun intended) thrown in (and very rarely, we get one of those folks with totems
). Haven't even seen a tree in ages...
Of course, recently the holy Pallies have mainly been Prot Pallies

Haven't even seen a tree in ages...
Beware of the Orange tree

Haha...sorry O, forgot about you (although what I said still stands - I haven't seen a tree in a guild raid in ages
).
These things come go in cycles. Not long ago everyone and their dog was a holy priest (and it was about that time I switched my main to be Akaryxn). Then we had a period where every raid had at least two trees.
I was a tree yesterday
I was a tree on the Onyxia raid yesterday...but you had to go see a bonfire so you couldn't see me burn like a tree caught by a dragon's breath

Now you're getting your Brits
Now you're getting your Brits all mixed up
I didn't go to a see a bonfire, I went to see Morrissey, although we did get a great panoramic view of loads of fireworks across London from the top of Alexandra Park.
I don't want to butt in, but
I don't want to butt in, but isn't the anthem I hear from Matzy that there's already a lot of holy paladins in our healing team?
Could you be convinced to give another pally spec a try or are you really set on healing, Serea?
