Lemmings of the Light

Dear everyone,

After putting myself on gnimmel and taking some distance from the game, I decided to cancel my account. I already thought it would happen as I declared in my goodbye comment under wiggles' thread; I just needed the time to get the courage to take the step. As I mentioned before the last year has left me a bit bitter and the game has lost it flair for me; even though I'll miss you guys I don't think it's healthy to keep paying for an account or to log in to occasionally check on everyone.

I'd like to thank everyone, new and old lemmings, for the time and the fun we shared. Even though I always have the feeling that when you start namecalling, I might forget and hurt someone, but there are people that deserve extra thanks.

Thanks Wilgje for your great leader and friendship over the years, and for making me feel so welcome and wanted when I joined the guild. You know me better than being an airheaded hippie but somehow you made me so cheery and bubbly and full of lemming spirit that helping people and spreading love was total bliss for me. Despite the fact you stopped playing you should always remember you have that kind of power over people, ingame and outgame : )

Thanks to all the officers for the teamwork and discussions we had, and most of all the fun. Even though being an officer comes with a more businesslike approach somehow you guys managed to give me a stir in the good direction when I got flared up over something, lleustylo ; )

Thanks oldskool/vanilla lemmings for the great times we shared together, and who always made me feel like a lemming besides an officer. I appreciate your soberness and the way you guys never cease to pull everything in perspective. It's one of your greater strengths and an attitude like that has helped the guild the most to my opinion!

Thanks to the other lemmings that were closer to me and enjoyed playing with me, besides the fact I'm epic at doing noobie stuff or having officertalks in instances and during raids.

And last but not least in case they're reading it; thanks to the lemmings who left over the years for various reasons who I enjoyed playing with. I haven't kept in touch with everyone as much as I would have liked to, but if you're dear to me, out of sight doesn't mean out of heart.
