Only Time will Tell
Hey Lemmings,
I've had the honour of being in Lemmings for the better part of 4 years that i've been in this game. We've had ups and downs, but always kept ourselves going. This is OUR strength that not many guilds have, we survive. As I said, i've been here for most of my time in this game and there's no other guild I'd rather be in, however, as of late, if its due to recent happenings in my life that has made me take upon a different view or something else, I've decided to leave World of Warcraft. I've had so many good times here with you guys, so many raids, events, instances, quests, cliff jumps that it would be impossible to count them all. But the game has lost its charm, while Lemmings still keep the fun alive, I feel that i've done everything, seen everything, that this game has to offer. This sadly ruins my mood and I just sit around, checking AH, being grumpy, which is not what a game should do, it should be fun and make you happy.
I will remain on the website, keeping tabs on you all and on IRC to chat. Because even if the game has lost its spark for me, you guys haven't and I don't want to leave you guys completely as you mean far too much to me.
Four years is a long time to spend in a single game, but there are so many good memories here that I wouldn't trade them for anything!
In my opinion, you guys have helped me become a better person. Some may call this "just a game" but to me, it wouldn't be this great without the wonderful people in it, so I would like to thank you all for being who you are, Lemmings.
So, I am leaving, but who knows what the future has in store, what might happen along the way, It's just another step in the journey of life. Perhaps we'll run into each other in the other world known as "RL", only time will tell.

OK, Joe wants to move on. I can see how you feel Star, but nothing to be gained in stretching this out. It's feels a shame he did not feel/want to say he was leaving lemmings, but it is done, and there is no point going over it (or anyone else's leaving) again and again.

Some of you may or may not
Some of you may or may not have noticed that I am back in the game, however not in lemmings anymore. A lot of people left lemmings for their own seperate reasons during this summer and a lot of them were really good friends of mine. I've missed them a lot and I believe I may have tried to bury this feeling by going away, but obviously, this hasn't worked. So instead I've joined them.
I hope you'll be able to respect my choice and be able to still see me as a friend, because I will always see you as friends. Even if i won't be in the green chat, I'll still be in the pink one.

Insiders jokes aside, I think it's sad you're leaving. I think you and I have been in the guild almost as long, with me being a much more infrequent player, but you've never held that against me and have always been up for a chat or help in any way.
I don't think there's much more to be said by me that hasn't already been said by the others here, so all that remains is to wish you luck in what ever you have planned ahead.

I'll always remember you Joe as the first lemming i truly met. I was only a wee babe and there you were in Booty Bay beating the snot out of the bruisers at the front entrance. I think Star has said it best so far, that a lot of the time personality is lost in chat but that's never the case with you Joe. Well, everything that has a beginning has an end. And if you can really see nothing good in this game anymore then I believe you were totally right to end it now. I'm glad that you'll stay in touch, and since lately I hang out on the irc quite often, I hope I shall be seeing you there. It was a great time being with you in the lemmings. I can still recall you through all the adventures in WoW, from vanilla till WotLK, (We even had a baby orc once together, remember?
) and gonna miss you in gchat as you were a very special lemming. However I wish you a fond farewell and I hope your journey in life is gonna be even happier and even more successful than your journey in WoW.

Its about you not about me but as you know I have been in this position a few times myself over the last 4 years,
its useualy the temptation of a new game that makes my mind up to move on, but if its not where you need to be then
at the very least its time for a break.
Now about "you".. Its difficult to show a personality in just text chat, but you have managed to always bridge that barrier,
everyone very quickly gets to know the kind of guy you are and for that alone you are a very special Lemming,
gonna miss you big time, but it is what it is, good luck and happy times in whatever you aspire to, in what must be
a very promising future if personality has even a small part to play.

I've really appreciated the support you've given me during my RL drama as well. Whether it was long chats in /w or diversionary naked boosts through instances.

I'll not say, "Sad to see you go", or, "It's a shame you are leaving", or even, "Please change your mind", because when you decide that you will enjoy yourself more doing something else, then that is a positive decision and to be applauded.
It's much better to make the decision and be happy, than procrastinate and be fed-up.
