First PR group meeting

1. First event

Joesnow has thought up an event, a Hide and Seek with a twist. The idea after discussing it is to visit multiple zones, have someone hide in them, and give 4 hints for people to find the hidden guildie. The hints have to do with Warcraft lore.
The zones suggested for this event are in northern Kalimdor. (See seperate comment from Wilgje regarding this with zone ideas). We need 3-5 zones for 3 to 5 rounds.

- warlocks in each zone for easy transport?
- every round should take 15-20 minutes, every 3-5 minutes a hint. After each hint people that find the hidden lemming get 2 points less (8/6/4/2)
- prize: a Darkmoon Faire card, rings, jewellery from Griftah?

We have not yet decided on a date, but will first finish the details of the event (hints, rules, zones etc.)

2. Complaints/Requests:

- Rewt: Raids in weekends?
Rewt has asked if it is possible to have a Karazhan raid in the weekend sometime because he isn't able to attend our usual raid days.
Wilgje has put her GL hat on and thinks he knew the raid days before he applied, but that the officers will discuss.
Kaliya suggests it might be good to see how it goes, and give the idea a chance.

- Sheebah: ways to help people get things done
Kaliya suggests a night where some people are on standby to help others. It seems the name "Standby Night" has been agreed on.
- Frequency: twice a month?
- How: event is created in calendar, volunteers can sign up and will be on standby to helping others/ninja-invites all evening?

- Complaints-request topic clear enough?
Wilgje will check if the topic is visible and if not, try to get more attention to it But question arose if people will not be afraid to comment in public.

3. Future events:

The following ideas were discussed:

• before Blackwing Lair: attunements for Onyxia/BWL by doing UBRS/Ony/BWL. We will need to get started on this soon because it will take some time to get a reasonable group keyed.
• Running down the blackrock mountain chains 'drunk' (Kaliya)
• A mass lemmings jump (Kaliya). Locations?
  • Twin Colossals (Feralas, Kalimdor)
  • Mount Hyjal zone (Kalimdor)
  • Darnassus
  • Ironforge

4. Meeting: gone well!

Next meeting will be organised in 3 to 4 weeks, with the intention to do an event before that time
